Two Sides...

Light and darkness are like two sides of a coin,
They can not exist without the other,
And just like two sides of a coin we belong together...

My entry for contest, the dark and light cathegory.

I tried to bring out the contrast by making Zeyirs side darker then Narwas and made her slightly glowing from the sun while it doesn't reflect on Zeyir much.

At first I wasn't going to enter as I had no inspiration to draw my idea. But three days before the deadline I got a brainstorm and managed to finish it in time. I'm not entirely satisfied with Zeyir's pose, he looks so stiff while Narwa is relaxed. I spent over a day on the sketch and searching for pose and bench references and I still think something about the perspective isn't right, but overall I'm very satisfied with it. I made the background more rough to have the main focus on the characters.
